Responsibilities
Define and execute the UX strategy that supports both short-term product goals and long-term company vision, ensuring the user experience is intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
Conduct User Research Oversee and guide user research activities qualitative and quantitative, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and persona development, to gather deep insights into user needs and behaviors.
Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure user experience is incorporated into product development from concept to launch.
Design & Prototype Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, working with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Brainstorming sessions, and workshops to solve complex problems and validate ideas with users.
User Centered Design Culture Champion and instill a user centered design culture across teams, ensuring user research and design best practices are adopted throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure Design Consistency Maintain and enforce consistent design systems, guidelines, and patterns across the product portfolio to ensure a seamless user experience.
Data Driven Decisions Use data, insights, and feedback to inform design decisions and optimize user journeys across products.
Key Qualifications:
Proven Experience 5 years of experience in UX design and research, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user centered design and cross functional collaboration.
Demonstrated experience in managing design and research activities and driving UX strategy within a tech focused environment.
Research Expertise Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative UX research methods user interviews, usability testing, surveys, A B testing, analytics, etc. Design Tools Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Experience in design systems is a plus. Technical Acumen Understanding of front end and back-end development processes, allowing for better collaboration with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility.
User Centered Design Strong knowledge of user centered design principles, human-computer interaction, and usability standards.
Strong Communication Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate UX concepts to non-design and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Product Analytics Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Mix panel to derive actionable insights from product data.
Familiarity with Accessibility Standards Experience designing for accessibility and a deep understanding of WCAG and other accessibility guidelines.
Experience in Mobile Design Experience designing for mobile first and responsive web applications, with a focus on user centered design across different devices.
