Overview
As a VMO Support Specialist, you’ll help manage software vendor contracts during mergers, acquisitions, and separations. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll review, track, and coordinate contract changes to support M&A strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze third-party software vendor contracts for M&A and separation projects.
- Work with Legal, Security & Privacy and cross-functional teams on contract transfers, renewals, and terminations.
- Use tracking systems to document and monitor contract activities.
- Support due diligence by identifying contract risks, compliance issues, and integration opportunities.
- Coordinate contract amendments, renewals, and terminations with stakeholders.
- Prepare contract analysis reports and recommendations.
- Keep updated records of contract status, obligations, and milestones for M&A projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years in vendor management or contract administration, ideally in tech.
- Strong grasp of software contracts, licensing, and M&A processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting M&A activities at a large enterprise or in a global setting.
- Knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance considerations in software vendor contracts.
- Ability to interpret legal documentation and summarize key terms and risks.
Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
