Job Description

Overview

As a VMO Support Specialist, you’ll help manage software vendor contracts during mergers, acquisitions, and separations. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll review, track, and coordinate contract changes to support M&A strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze third-party software vendor contracts for M&A and separation projects.
Work with Legal, Security & Privacy and cross-functional teams on contract transfers, renewals, and terminations.
Use tracking systems to document and monitor contract activities.
Support due diligence by identifying contract risks, compliance issues, and integration opportunities.
Coordinate contract amendments, renewals, and terminations with stakeholders.
Prepare contract analysis reports and recommendations.
Keep updated records of contract status, obligations, and milestones for M&A projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5 years in vendor management or contract administration, ideally in tech.
Strong grasp of software contracts, licensing, and M&A processes.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting M&A activities at a large enterprise or in a global setting.
Knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance considerations in software vendor contracts.
Ability to interpret legal documentation and summarize key terms and risks.

Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
