About The Opportunity

A leading provider in the Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) and US legal support services sector, delivering paralegal, litigation support, compliance, and back-office solutions to law firms and corporate legal departments. We operate high-quality, US time-zone aligned teams in India to drive cost-efficient, reliable legal operations for our clients.Position: US Legal Operations Team Lead (On-site, India) — Lead a high-performing back-office team delivering US legal support across document review, case management, and client reporting.Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and schedule an on-site team of legal associates/paralegals to meet daily SLAs and monthly KPIs aligned to US client expectations.
  • Own quality assurance: review high-priority deliverables, perform QC checks, and implement corrective actions to maintain 99%+ accuracy.
  • Manage end-to-end workflow for document review, legal research support, drafting routine pleadings/letter templates, and maintaining matter files.
  • Coordinate with US-based clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, present status reports, and incorporate feedback promptly.
  • Drive process improvements: standardize templates, update playbooks, and run root-cause analyses to reduce rework and cycle time.
  • Track team performance, prepare operational dashboards, and escalate risks while ensuring compliance with data security and confidentiality protocols.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years in US legal back-office/LPO operations or paralegal services, with 1+ year in a supervisory or team-lead role.
  • Practical experience with document review, case/matter management and common legal workflows (litigation, contracts, compliance).
  • Familiarity with legal technology (case management/eDiscovery tools) and strong MS Office skills; comfortable learning new platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal English with ability to interact effectively with US legal teams and clients.

Preferred

  • Exposure to Relativity, iManage, LexisNexis/Westlaw or other legal tech and eDiscovery platforms.
  • Experience driving SLA/KPI frameworks, QA programs, and process documentation in a BPO or LPO environment.
