Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

US Accountant

with a strong background in accounting operations and financial management for US-based clients. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with leading accounting platforms such as

QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Xero

, and possess solid experience across

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Invoice/PO management

. Proficiency in

MS Excel

and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes accurately and timely.
  • Handle US Payroll processing and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage Invoices and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Maintain financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare periodic financial statements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for financial reporting.
  • Utilize advanced MS Excel functions for data analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting.
  • Draft professional emails and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Accounting Experience:

  • Proven experience working as a US Accountant with exposure to US GAAP.

Accounting Software Proficiency:

  • QuickBooks: Hands-on experience in managing full-cycle accounting.
  • Zoho Books: Experience in maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and generating reports.
  • Xero: Proficient in handling accounting operations and integrations.

Functional Expertise:

  • Accounts Payable: ✅
  • Accounts Receivable: ✅
  • US Payroll: ✅
  • Invoice & PO Management: ✅

MS Excel Skills:

  • HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP
  • SUM, AVERAGE, PERCENTAGE formulas
  • Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities

Other Skills:

  • Excellent email drafting and communication skills
  • Good typing speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and time management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with US-based clients or accounting firms.
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations (preferred but not mandatory).
