US Accountant

As an experienced US Accountant for a California-based ecommerce company, your role will involve managing end-to-end accounting operations with a focus on US accounting, state compliance, and ecommerce financial processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, and reconciliation using QuickBooks Online - Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Handling US Sales Tax & Use Tax filings, particularly for California - Coordinating with US finance team, auditors, and external agencies as necessary - Ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards and state-specific tax regulations - Supporting budget planning, cost tracking, and forecasting To excel in this role, you are required to have the following skills and qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on US Accounting experience - Experience in California tax filing (Sales & Use Tax) - Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online - Knowledge of US GAAP, ecommerce accounting & reporting workflows - Excellent skills in Excel, reports, and reconciliations - Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail & ownership mindset This is an onsite role at the Mohali office, offering a full-time position.
