The Payroll Processor will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll data for assigned clients. The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and the ability to adhere to compliance and service timelines while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
- Collect, validate, and process payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, new joiners, exits, variable payouts, and deductions.
- Ensure timely payroll processing with zero errors as per client timelines.
- Validate payroll output, including statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS) and reimbursements.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliation statements as per client requirements.
- Coordinate with client HR and finance teams for payroll-related queries and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and assist in filing related returns.
- Support the implementation team during new client onboarding or transition of payroll.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas, data validation).
- Understanding of payroll components and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with a client-service orientation.
