Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Process accurate and timely monthly payroll including leaves, reimbursements, and incentives.
Maintain and update employee payroll records and attendance data.
Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc.
File monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns as per regulations.
Handle grievances or queries related to salary, deductions, taxes, and payslips.
Coordinate with the HR and Finance teams for smooth payroll operations.
Assist in internal audits and reconciliation of salary disbursements.
Generate reports and MIS using Excel for internal review and external compliance

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing.
In-depth knowledge of PF, ESIC, payroll tax laws, and labor regulations.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF conditions, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy and confidentiality.
