Job Purpose:

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the human resources functions across campuses, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with the institution's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, administrative, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
  • Organize interviews, reference checks, and onboarding processes.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement programs.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management to address grievances.
  • Promote a healthy work-life balance and employee well-being.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
  • Work with academic and non-academic heads to identify high performers and training needs.
  • Develop growth and succession planning initiatives.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Draft, review, and implement HR policies in accordance with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, education board norms, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation.

5. Training & Development

  • Coordinate professional development programs for faculty and staff.
  • Identify skill gaps and propose training strategies.
  • Organize induction, orientation, and leadership development sessions.

6. Payroll & Attendance

  • Oversee attendance systems and leave management.
  • Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Handle employee benefits and insurance administration.
