Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Underwriter in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in the field.

Roles and Responsibility

Analyze complex data sets to determine risk levels and make informed decisions.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and developments.
Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
Participate in quality control processes to ensure high standards of work.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of underwriting principles and practices, including credit scoring and risk assessment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong client and colleague relationships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulations, with relevant certifications or training preferred.
