UI/UX Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• UI/UX Design: Create visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for our digital platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and other interactive products. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• User Research: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and preferences. Analyze and interpret research findings to inform design decisions and optimize the user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and validate design solutions.
• Design Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define design requirements and goals. Develop design strategies that align with business objectives and target audience. Ensure that design solutions adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Interaction Design: Create engaging and seamless interactions through animations, transitions, and micro-interactions. Apply best practices in interaction design to enhance usability and create delightful user experiences. Continuously iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
• Visual Design: Develop visually appealing graphics, icons, and illustrations that align with the overall design aesthetic. Apply principles of color theory, typography, and composition to create compelling visual compositions. Ensure that designs are accessible and responsive across various devices and screen sizes.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing professionals. Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, providing clear explanations and justifications for design decisions. Actively participate in design critiques and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in UI/UX design. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills through professional development and self-learning. Share insights and best practices with the team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects with a focus on user-centered design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of aesthetics, typography, and composition.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
