Job Description

Role Overview

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer (Motion & Interaction) who can design thoughtful, usable product experiences and bring them to life through motion. You’ll work across interface design, micro-interactions, and in-app animations to make complex financial workflows feel intuitive, responsive, and human.

This role sits at the intersection of product design and motion design. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design to ensure motion isn’t decorative—but purposeful, accessible, and performance-aware. As part of a growing product team, you’ll help define how interaction and motion behave across our platform and contribute to a scalable design system.

What You’ll Create

  • End-to-end UI/UX designs for web and mobile experiences
  • Motion-driven interactions that guide users, provide feedback, and reduce cognitive load
  • Micro-interactions for states like loading, success, error, empty, and transitions
  • In-app animations using tools like Rive / Lottie that integrate smoothly with engineering workflows
  • Interactive prototypes that clearly communicate behavior and intent
  • Contributions to a design system, including motion principles and interaction guidelines
  • Motion patterns that balance clarity, performance, and brand personality

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong portfolio showing UI/UX work and interaction/motion thinking (this matters more than anything)
  • 1–4 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design
  • High proficiency in Figma (layouts, components, auto-layout, prototyping)
  • Experience creating motion using Rive, Lottie, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, usability, and accessibility
  • Ability to think in systems—not just screens
  • Comfort collaborating with developers and adapting designs to technical constraints
  • Clear communication skills—able to explain why something moves, not just how

Bonus Points For

  • Experience designing motion specifically for product UX (not just marketing animations)
  • Familiarity with handoff workflows for motion (JSON/Lottie exports, Rive state machines, etc.)
  • Understanding of performance considerations in real-world apps
  • Experience working on finance, SaaS, or data-heavy products
  • Interest in refining motion principles as part of a broader design system
  • Ability to balance restraint and delight (knowing when not to animate)

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to define how motion and interaction work from the ground up
  • A product-focused environment where design decisions are taken seriously
  • Competitive compensation
  • Close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership
  • Space to shape standards, not just execute tickets.

Join us in building interfaces that feel intentional; from the first tap to the last transition.
