Motion Designer Rive Specialist (UI + Character Animation & Motion Systems)

As a motion designer at Mavenark Technologies, you will play a crucial role in crafting digital financial experiences that are not just functional but also human-centric and engaging. Your primary focus will be on creating motion that effectively conveys meaning and emotion, ranging from UI interactions to storytelling animations. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a motion design system across all products to ensure consistency, scalability, and smooth collaboration with developers. Key Responsibilities: - Create character animations and personalities such as mascots, assistants, and guides - Develop emotionally driven UI motion including micro-interactions, transitions, and confirmations - Design dynamic financial data visualizations - Implement gamified motion systems for progress tracking, achievements, and rewards - Define motion guidelines encompassing easing, timing, and reusable patterns - Produce explainer and storytelling animations for complex financial concepts Qualifications Required: Mandatory: - Proficiency in Rive (rigs, state machines) and After Effects + Lottie - Strong portfolio showcasing UI, character, product, and interaction animation - Minimum of 2 years of motion design experience in digital products or games - Mastery of animation principles such as timing, spacing, anticipation, and follow-through - Ability to convey emotion and personality through subtle character motion Optional (Strong Advantage): - Experience in designing gamified or interactive motion systems - Familiarity with UX and behavioral psychology - Knowledge of React/React Native motion constraints - Hands-on experience with Rive, Spline, Unity, or GSAP/WebGL Good to Have: - Background in character animation, even if stylized or minimal - Collaboration experience with developers for in-product motion implementation About Mavenark Technologies: At Mavenark Technologies, finance is more than just numbers on a spreadsheet - it's a realm of emotions, decisions, risks, and rewards.
