Position Summary
The Treasury Manager
position will be responsible for supporting the Vice President of Treasury and overseeing the treasury operations. This role will focus on managing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning. The Treasury Manager will also supervise and coordinate the activities of the treasury team, ensuring timely execution of payments, cash forecasting, and banking relationships.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee Treasury duties
- Assist the team in case of doubts in the process.
- Create a plan for How, When, and What resources each new team project or process will need.
- Make reports requested by Vice-presidents.
- Update and maintain policies & procedure documentation.
- Ensures effectiveness in processes to achieve / seek best practice.
- Able to effectively solve problems and make decisions based on the best information available, including resolving crisis situations and developing resolutions between parties.
- Takes personal responsibility for actions. Leads by example, guiding the team to win/win solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding and experience with accrual accounting
- Intermediate level of understanding and experience with Microsoft excel, preferably with experience using pivot tables
- Communicates effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form, and able to read and interpret written information.
- Ability to coach and develop accounting team.
- Ability to effectively interact with customer base and maintain excellent customer relations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively with other internal and external departments.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Problem solving skills are mandatory as well as ability to manage resources to complete team goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; strict attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word and E-mail. Sage Intacct & Prism HRP experience is a plus
Education & Experience
- C2 / C1 English language level.
- 8 + year experience
- Experience developing systems, policies and procedures for an accounting/finance division.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Must have prior management experience.
- Must have documented leadership skills.
- Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication in individual or group applications, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, task oriented, good interpersonal skills, patience, perseverance, and follow through skills.
