Transport Manager

Key responsibilities include:1. Transportation Management:

• Managing the entire fleet of school buses, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatch.
• Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the safety of students during transportation.
• Coordinating with drivers, attendants, and other staff.
• Managing fuel consumption and maintenance schedules for the vehicles.
• Resolving transportation-related issues and complaints.

2. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensuring all vehicles are properly licensed and maintained.
• Adhering to all relevant transport regulations and safety standards.
• Conducting regular safety checks and inspections of vehicles.
• Managing emergency situations and ensuring proper protocols are followed.

3. Communication and Coordination:

• Communicating with parents, students, and school staff regarding transportation schedules and procedures.
• Coordinating with other departments within the school, such as the administration and academic departments.
• Liaising with external stakeholders, such as transport authorities and vendors.

4. Data Management and Analysis:

• Analyzing transportation data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Developing and maintaining records related to transportation operations.
• Generating reports on transportation activities for management review.

5. Cost Control:

• Monitoring and managing transportation costs.
• Implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Negotiating contracts with transportation providers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.32 - ₹35,000.00 per month
