Transport Manager

As a Transport Manager at Meesho's Fulfillment and Experience (F&E) team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experience of the next billion e-Commerce users in the country. You will be part of a diverse team of over 100 professionals with expertise in operations, supply chain management, analytics, and innovative problem-solving approaches. Meesho is on a mission to revolutionize e-commerce by reaching the masses and reimagining logistics to meet customer expectations in terms of pricing and delivery. This will involve spearheading various projects to build a supply chain that transforms the e-Commerce landscape not only in India but also globally. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new Transporters and overseeing operations for the entire cluster. You will be instrumental in driving key operational metrics, taking ownership of assigned processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing towards achieving team objectives. Your continuous efforts will focus on identifying operational gaps and proposing recommendations to enhance our processes. Key Responsibilities: - Onboarding new Transporters onto the network regularly - Tracking and managing the performance of different Lanes within the cluster - Ensuring compliance with operational processes - Taking end-to-end ownership of key operational metrics and meeting performance targets Requirements: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline - 3-5 years of experience in the e-commerce logistics domain, particularly in Middle Mile operations - Proficiency in partner onboarding, training, and sorting operations in the Middle Mile segment - Previous experience in a similar geographic location and capacity is advantageous - Familiarity with control tower and field operations would be a plus Join us at Meesho and be a part of our dynamic team that values fun at work, with activities like monthly F&E happy hour sessions, team outings, and engaging virtual water cooler chat sessions.
