Managing customer ocean freight full container load (FCL) bookings with carriers. Being responsible for all stock and logistics functions concerning total supply chain management, including planning, inter-/intra-company purchasing, and imports/exports. Monitoring and controlling logistics costs for inbound and overseas activities, insurance or other related expenses. Providing and implementing corrective and preventative action plans. Coordinating meetings with clients to determine their requirements, identify issues, and ensure all processes run to schedule. Studying and recommending strategies and improvements, where necessary, in coordination with the Financial Controller.
