Job Description – Training Intern

Location: On-site / Mohali
Duration: 6 months

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Training Intern to join our Learning & Development team. This role provides hands-on exposure to training program management, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, and HR operations. The intern will assist in coordinating training sessions, maintaining training records, supporting content management, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in corporate learning and development, improve professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Program Support

  • Assist in planning and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Help manage schedules, communicate with participants, and track attendance.
  • Support trainers in preparing session materials and resources.

2. LMS & Content Management

  • Upload training courses, materials, and assessments on the LMS.
  • Ensure accurate course descriptions, content, and resources are available.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining existing training modules.

3. Administrative & Record-Keeping

  • Maintain trainee registration records, attendance, and certification status.
  • Prepare basic reports on participant engagement and training completion.
  • Support pre-training and post-training communication, including emails and reminders.

4. Communication & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Act as a first point of contact for trainees and trainers for queries.
  • Coordinate with external training partners and internal departments when required.
  • Assist in preparing training announcements, circulars, and notifications.

5. Marketing & Promotion Support

  • Support the marketing team in drafting newsletters, social media posts, and promotional content for upcoming training programs.
  • Help create engaging communication materials for internal or external audiences.

6. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect participant feedback and compile basic insights.
  • Assist in tracking key metrics related to training effectiveness.
  • Prepare simple charts, reports, and presentations for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in Learning & Development, Training
  • Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with MS Office / Google Workspace; knowledge of LMS is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
