Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Testing Analyst to join our laboratory team. The role involves conducting chemical analysis of food products to assess quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires familiarity with standard laboratory practices, the ability to handle testing equipment, and a strong understanding of food chemistry principles. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine chemical analysis on food samples to evaluate key quality parameters. Use laboratory instruments and equipment to carry out testing procedures accurately. Prepare samples and solutions following internal protocols and safety guidelines. Record and interpret results, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and well-documented. Assist in routine calibration and upkeep of lab instruments. Support quality control activities by maintaining compliance with lab standards. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and consistent testing outcomes. Qualifications: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, or related discipline. 1–3 years of hands-on experience in food testing or a similar laboratory environment. Familiarity with food safety standards and good laboratory practices. Comfortable working with common lab instruments used in chemical testing. Key Skills: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to follow testing protocols and maintain accurate records. Hands-on experience with laboratory procedures and equipment handling. Good communication, time management, and teamwork abilities. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
