Job Description

Business Development Trainee / Intern

Role & responsibilities

Conduct research to identify and profile potential corporate, institutional, and NGO partners.
Assist in lead generation, outreach, and follow-ups through email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
Support in preparing proposals, concept notes, and partnership presentations.
Maintain and update CRM databases, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and interactions.
Conduct secondary research on market trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proposal inputs, internal reviews, and event coordination.
Prepare weekly reports, presentations, and documentation for business development reviews.
Assist in scheduling client meetings, internal discussions, and maintaining communication logs.
Contribute creative ideas for improving outreach and partner engagement strategies.
Learn and implement best practices in sales enablement, partnership management, and business communication.

Preferred candidate profile

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal & written).
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
and
Google Workspace
.
Eagerness to learn about
business growth, partnerships, and social impact
.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
MBA / BBA or equivalent degree (preferably in
Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
).
Prior internship or project experience in
sales, business development, or partnerships
is a plus.
Fundraising Campaign Support:
Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives, online campaigns, and donor engagement activities.
