Job Description

We are Hiring for Senior Manager / Manager Cost Management

Location -Gurugram / Project Sites (as applicable)

Experience -8 to 12 years of relevant experience in real estate or infrastructure projects

To ensure robust cost planning, budget control, contract administration, and financial governance across Signature Global projects. The role focuses on cost optimization, financial discipline, and risk mitigation, supporting timely project delivery while maintaining quality and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting & Cost Estimation

  • Prepare, review, and manage project budgets and detailed cost estimates from concept to completion.
  • Develop cost plans aligned with approved designs, specifications, timelines, and business objectives of Signature Global projects.
  • Support feasibility studies, value engineering, and cost benchmarking across residential and commercial developments.

Cost Control & Monitoring

  • Monitor project-wise expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets and cash flow plans.
  • Track cost variances, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising safety, quality, or delivery schedules.

3. Procurement & Contract Administration

  • Support procurement by providing BOQs, cost estimates, and budget inputs for contract awards.

4. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly and periodic cost reports, cash flow statements, and variance analyses for management review.
  • Provide actionable insights to support financial decision-making, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all cost and commercial data.

5. Coordination & Compliance

  • Coordinate closely with project teams, consultants, finance, procurement, and contractors to ensure smooth commercial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Signature Global policies, SOPs, statutory norms, and industry best practices.
  • Identify potential commercial, contractual, and compliance risks and proactively implement mitigation measures.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Adherence to approved project budgets and cost benchmarks
  • Timely and accurate cost reporting
  • Effective management of variations and claims
  • Cost savings and value optimization achieved
  • Compliance with internal audits and governance frameworks

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in cost management, budgeting, and contracts
  • In-depth understanding of construction practices, procurement, and claim management
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environments

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
  • Professional certifications (MRICS / PMP) will be an added advantage
