Job Description

Job Summary:

The role of Trade Marketing executive in Glenmark Consumer Care encompasses comprehensive management of Channel visibility & activation operations for General Trade & Modern trade Chains, promo reconciliation & invoice management with Modern trade & finance team. Create Collaterals and assets for brands which are in line with global standards. Analyzing latest industry trends of trade activations and getting best in class visibility execution for GCC brands. An integral part of the Marketing team, this role is focused on building high level of operational efficiency for Modern trade & General trade activations for our brands so that they have a Gold Standard of Visibility in line with brand architecture and footprint.


Primary responsibilities:

General Trade Channel Trade Activation:

  • Execute visibility plans General trade as per the brand marketing calendar and develop high impact visibility collaterals and assets in liaison with brand team & sales leadership
  • Ensure all collaterals and assets are customized to each account and each door in line with guidelines
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date and in time dispatch of trade activation & visibility inputs for GT channel brands by coordinating with Brand and Sales team

Modern trade Channel activation:

  • Execute Modern trade visibility campaigns for chains and individual super hyper formats along with MT team like Apollo, DMart, H&G, Reliance, Pothis etc
  • Develop high level & efficient visibility inputs for chains & individual super hyper formats in accordance with market trends and store requirement & Brand need.
  • Collaborate with Brand team and Modern trade team to ensure that visibility activations are executed on time so that it impacts brand sales and offtake
  • Enable high level of monitoring of trade visibility by conducting frequent visits to Modern trade outlets and keeping a track of visibility execution in accordance with the agreement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, behind visibility initiatives build a strong relationship with retail partners

Invoice & Claim Management:

  • Investigate and validate visibility execution proposals with respect to norms adherence and payments
  • Collaborate with internal teams, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in terms of visibility TOTs and execution.


Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to management on effectiveness and efficiency of inputs and collateral investments in retail
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to Chain wise and store wise activations & business output
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on chain wise & store wise performance and resource allocation at outlet and chain level


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, marketing, or a related field
