We are looking for a skilled Tosca Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in test automation using Tricentis Tosca, along with proficiency in API testing, CI/CD pipeline integration, and building modular, maintainable automation test suites. This role is pivotal in accelerating our software testing lifecycle, enhancing test coverage, and ensuring product quality across web, API, and backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Create and manage Tosca modules, test cases, and reusable test components adhering to best practices.
Implement and integrate test automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Execute API automation using Tosca API testing capabilities or other tools as required.
Collaborate with QA Leads, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver automated test coverage.
Optimize test execution strategies for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot test failures, analyze root causes, and support defect triage and resolution.
Maintain traceability between test cases, requirements, and defects using tools such as JIRA and Xray.
Document and maintain test automation frameworks and standards.

Required Technical Skills

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Tosca Automation.
Expertise in Tosca Commander, Tosca Modules, TestCase Design, ExecutionLists, and Requirement linking.
Solid understanding of test data management and dynamic test case creation using Tosca.
Experience in API testing using Tosca or other REST/SOAP testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies including Agile, Scrum.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Tricentis Tosca Certification (AS1, AS2, Test Design Specialist) is highly desirable.
Experience with service virtualization, data-driven testing, and model-based test automation.
Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (VBScript, JavaScript, or Python) is an advantage.
Experience in working with cloud-based testing environments.
