This full-time, on-site role is based in India and is perfect for a dedicated Secondary English Teacher eager to inspire language proficiency and literary appreciation.Role & Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with prescribed curricula (CBSE/ICSE or state board).
Develop clear, structured lesson plans incorporating literature, grammar, and writing workshops.
Assess student progress through quizzes, essays, presentations, and standardized tests.
Manage classroom behavior, foster a positive learning environment, and address individual student needs.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and growth.
Collaborate with faculty to design cross-curricular projects and co-curricular activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor’s degree in English, English Literature, or related field.
B.Ed. certification and CTET/TET qualification.
1–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in creating assessment tools and tracking student progress.

Preferred

Master’s degree in English or Education. Candidates passed out from DU is preferred.
Experience with digital teaching tools and interactive whiteboards.
Familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, or International Baccalaureate English curricula.
Experience leading debate clubs, literary societies, or writing workshops.
