Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for ensuring software quality, a solid understanding of manual testing principles, and basic exposure to automation tools. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications, including APIs
• Develop, review, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or similar
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and senior QA team members for issue resolution
• Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on applications
• Assist in writing and executing basic automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Postman
• Provide constructive feedback on software usability, functionality, and user experience
• Perform manual testing of software applications
• Analyze test results and report defects to developers
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and new testing tools and techniques
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve defects and improve the quality of software

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong foundation in manual testing principles and techniques
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect life cycle
• Exposure to bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation and testing
• Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Postman, or similar is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Java or Python is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• A confident and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in designing and developing automated test suites
• Experience in UI and API test automation - Selenium, RestAssured

Pay: ₹275,000.00 - ₹325,000.00 per year
