Job Description

As a Growth & Market Expansion Intern, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities and driving strategic initiatives to expand our reach. Your responsibilities will include analyzing industry trends, competitors, and potential customer segments for effective market research and strategy. You will also be tasked with identifying and connecting with businesses that can benefit from our product, collaborating closely with the marketing and sales teams to execute outreach campaigns, and assessing potential business opportunities for lead qualification and conversion. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to SaaS sales cycles, customer engagement strategies, and business growth methodologies. Your key responsibilities will involve making outbound cold calls/emails to potential enterprise clients, understanding client needs, qualifying leads, following up, and scheduling virtual meetings or demos. It will also be essential to maintain and update the CRM with all interactions and opportunities, track pipeline progress, collaborate with marketing for campaign messaging and outreach strategies, and analyze market trends and competitor activity to shape sales pitches and positioning. To be eligible for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA, or MBA (Marketing) or equivalent. Freshers with zero or minimal formal sales experience are welcome, and prior internships or training in sales/marketing are a plus. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with fluency in other languages being advantageous. Confidence on calls, professionalism in interaction, a keen interest in sales, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships are also important attributes. Furthermore, a basic understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office, along with an analytical mindset for researching market segments, defining pain points, and suggesting outreach approaches, are desired qualities.
