Test Engineer

Skill(s): Sellenium, API Testing, UI Testing, Test Automation

Experience Range: Associate Level

Primary Location: WTC, Palava & Pune

This role will be responsible in Testing the Product systems both Front end and back-end and frontend

solutions and would be working closely with the other developers to define Test Plans and Test

Cases. Would also be involved in defining the Automation plan and Automation Test cases as needed.

You would also be contributing to reviews of scripts of other Tester.

Our technology stack is built in PHP and Flutter, running on MySQL, SQL and MongoDB. We deploy the applications on AWS. You will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, scalability,monitoring, and helping define all of this as immutable infrastructure-as-code.

Job Description

What will help you succeed in this role

• Take ownership of the design and development of all aspects of automation testing

along with the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts.

• Managing defects through the testing process to ensure all issues found during testing

are addressed.

• Work closely with functional testing team to identify areas where automation can

reduce a substantial amount of time and effort

• Evaluate and analyze the automation practice followed and suggest changes as and

when required.

• 3 - 4 years

  proven experience developing automated test systems and scripts beyond

record and playback. Specifically developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops,best practices using Java.

• Proven understanding of white box, grey box, and black box testing techniques.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience of using any of the 3rd party automation tools like Selenium, Test Complete,Cucumber, etc.
• Experience with Web Services/ performance/ security testing is advantageous.
• Experience in Performance Engineering/Performance testing/Web services testing usingtools such as SOAPUI is advantageous.

What Will you do

• Analyze Requirements and write Test Cases, Designing Test Plans, Scenarios, Scripts, and

Procedures to ensure quality code delivery to production.

• Familiarity with automated tests
• Review Test Cases , Provide feedback on opportunities for better Test Coverage
• Perform manual testing on UI and Web Service with rigor and precision
• Perform Automation testing as possible both on front end and backend.
• Identify the Test Data requirements to ensure adequate Test Data availability for testing
• Work as an integral team member of a self-directed Agile development team employing a

Scrum-based methodology
