Test Engineer

As an Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your primary responsibility will be to design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures for WLAN/BT protocols. You will document software defects, report them using a bug tracking system, and provide inputs to software developers during product design reviews. Your role will also involve developing testing programs, automating test cases, and executing them efficiently. Additionally, you must have a good understanding of WLAN & BT protocols and possess programming experience in languages like C, C#, C++, Java, or Python. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures for WLAN/BT protocols - Document software defects, report them using a bug tracking system, and provide inputs during product design reviews - Develop testing programs that address explicit and implicit requirements - Automate test cases and execute them - Participate in product design reviews to understand feature design and provide inputs **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - Good knowledge in WLAN & BT protocol - 1+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C#, C++, Java, Python, etc. In this role, you will be expected to work under close supervision, take responsibility for your work, and make decisions with limited impact. You will use verbal and written communication skills to convey information about day-to-day activities, complete tasks with multiple steps effectively, and troubleshoot technical problems creatively. Additionally, you will collaborate with project teams, seek out learning opportunities, and provide clear reports on your activities.
