Job Description

Looking for a good Automated Test Engineer with a telecom background

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Design, develop manual/automated test cases for features of network management and automation product for the access network.
  • Understand feature impacts, identify test cases, and prepare a plan to execute them.
  • Understand an end-to-end solution involving the integration of multiple products and test them.
  • Understand real-world customer deployments and incorporate feedback into test cases.
  • Work closely with all of R&D and Product Management to jointly deliver high-quality products and solutions.

Key Skills And Experience

You Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology, specialising in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication/Information Technology with 5 to 8 years of Experience.
  • Good L2/L3 knowledge with hands-on experience with SNMP/Netconf protocols
  • Test Automation Skills & Experience
  • Good knowledge of Unix, understanding of Java, and J2EE concepts
  • Knowledge of OSGi, Microservices, Kubernetes, SDN/NFV
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required
  • Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycle & testing
  • Should be ready to take on challenging tasks and deliver as committed on tight schedules
It would be nice if you had:
  • Experience in test design, test bed preparation/setup, test execution, and reporting
  • Experience in different kinds of software testing (functional, regression, and/or non-functional testing)
  • Experience in testing Cloud-based solutions, CI/CD, and DevOps environment
  • Good working knowledge of IDEs, automation frameworks, defect tracking tools, and version control systems
  • Experience in fixed broadband (DSL/PON) products is preferable
