Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary / About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and resolve defects.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to identify issues and ensure software performance, reliability, and stability.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using industry-standard tools such as JIRA or similar.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide timely feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the QA process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing across manual and/or automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Postman, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
  • Sound knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Understanding of API testing and scripting languages like Python or Java.
