Job Description

As the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for North Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies to enhance growth and market penetration. Your primary responsibility will involve leading a team of sales professionals, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring Tea Sense maintains its position as a market leader in the region. You will be tasked with developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet growth targets, guiding and managing a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential, and achieving sales objectives. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities such as partnerships, distribution channels, and retail outlets will be key to expanding Tea Sense's market presence in North Karnataka. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders, monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies accordingly, and presenting sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management are integral components of your role. Collaboration with the marketing team to create region-specific promotional campaigns and initiatives will also be essential. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of sales experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the tea or beverage industry. A proven track record of achieving sales targets, market understanding, exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to make strategic, data-driven decisions are necessary. Willingness to travel within the region as needed is also required.
