Job Description

You will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with both current and potential customers in the assigned territory/market segment to drive new business for the organization's products and services. This will involve making both telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to engage with existing and prospective clients effectively. Your role will entail conducting thorough research to identify potential customers and gather information to evaluate their suitability. You will also be required to create clear and compelling written proposals and quotations to present to current and prospective customers. Furthermore, you will be expected to address and resolve any customer problems or complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. It will be crucial to collaborate with various internal teams such as marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups to streamline the sales process effectively. Analyzing the potential of the territory/market and assessing the value that existing and potential customers bring to the organization will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Developing and managing a customer value plan for existing clients to maximize profile, share, and value opportunities will also be part of your role. You will play a vital role in identifying the unique advantages of the organization's products/services and comparing them with competitors in the market. Planning and executing a personalized sales strategy to optimize the Return on Time Investment for the assigned territory/segment will be essential. Additionally, you will need to provide regular oral and written reports to management on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Staying updated on product applications, technical services, market trends, competitive activities, and promotional strategies by engaging with relevant literature and consulting with marketing and technical service teams will be required. Participation in trade shows and conventions to represent the organization and network with potential clients and industry peers may also be expected as part of this role. Location: Kolkata, WB,
