Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced individual to join our organization as a Tender Manager for the GEM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and maximizing opportunities for our organization. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the tendering process on the GEM Portal, including tender document preparation, submission, and follow-up. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential tender opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for tender submissions. Review and assess tender requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines, policies, and procedures. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, legal, finance, and operations, to prepare comprehensive and competitive tender proposals. Analyze and evaluate contract terms, conditions, and pricing to develop competitive bidding strategies. Manage all aspects of tender submissions, including documentation, pricing, negotiations, and clarifications. Maintain accurate records of tender processes, documents, and communication for audit purposes. Stay updated with government regulations, policies, and changes related to the GEM Portal. Monitor tender results and provide regular reports to management regarding tender success rates, challenges, and areas for improvement. Requirements: Proven experience in tender management, specifically within the GEM Portal. In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, guidelines, and regulations. Strong understanding of the GEM Portal's functionality and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with e-procurement software.
