Job Summary

Tender Executive


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze new tender opportunities from MES, CPWD, DRDO, and other defense-related organizations.
  • Review tender documents and requirements, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial specifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical and financial bid proposals with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with estimation, planning, design, procurement, and legal teams to gather inputs for tenders.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of MES e-procurement portals and submission processes.
  • Manage tender documentation, including pre-qualification documents, project references, certifications, and financial credentials.
  • Liaise with MES officials, consultants, and partners during pre-bid and post-bid clarifications.
  • Track submitted tenders, follow up on bid status, and prepare post-submission reports.
  • Maintain a database of submitted tenders, deadlines, and award results for performance analysis and audit purposes.


Required Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2

    years of experience

    in handling MES or other defense-related tendering processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of MES tendering norms, SOR (Schedule of Rates), and standard bidding procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with e-tendering portals (CPPP, GeM, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
