Telesales Advisor

Role & responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote and sell insurance products.
  
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance plans based on their needs.
  
• Provide detailed information about product features, benefits, pricing, and terms & conditions.
  
• Effectively handle customer queries and objections to convert leads into successful sales.
  
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system.
  
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as assigned by the team lead or manager.
  
• Stay updated with product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry regulations.
  
• Adhere to compliance and quality standards during all customer interactions.
  
• Collaborate with team members and participate in regular training sessions to improve performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 1 year to 5 years of experience in Telesales or Outbound Sales (BPO experience preferred).
  
• Strong communication and persuasive skills in Hindi and English.
  
• Comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment.
  
• Basic understanding of sales techniques and ability to handle customer objections confidently.
  
• Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn about new products and pitch effectively.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setup with consistent performance.
  
• Must be currently residing in Pune or willing to relocate immediately.
  
• Familiarity with using CRM tools or call handling systems is a plus.
  
• Ready to join immediately or within a short notice period.
