Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure operates smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and networking. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, along with a solid understanding of various operating systems and technical support processes.

Duties

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
  • Manage VPN connections and firewall configurations to ensure secure access for users.
  • Utilize help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira to track and manage support tickets effectively.
  • Conduct software troubleshooting for various applications within the Microsoft Office suite and other business-critical software.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to maintain the integrity of LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Document solutions and create knowledge base articles for future reference.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer management principles and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Experience with desktop support tasks including hardware installation and configuration.
  • Knowledge of VPN setup and firewall management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
