🔧 Role Overview:

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of assigned vessels. The role involves overseeing maintenance, dry-docking, inspections, and coordination with crew, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day technical operations and monitor vessel performance
• Ensure planned maintenance and timely resolution of technical issues
• Maintain valid certifications and compliance with all regulations
• Plan and supervise dry-docking, inspections, and major overhauls
• Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and external contractors
• Optimize operational costs while maintaining high safety and performance standards
• Conduct regular ship visits and prepare technical performance reports

🎓 Requirements:

• Qualification:

  Class I Certificate of Competency (Chief Engineer)

• Experience:

• Minimum 1 year sailing as Chief Engineer on oil/chemical tankers

• Minimum 1 year shore experience as Technical Superintendent (2–5 years preferred)
