Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Superintendent role based in Chennai. The Technical Superintendent will oversee the daily operations and technical management of vessels, including ensuring maintenance, safety compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include monitoring vessel performance, conducting inspections, managing repair and maintenance schedules, and liaising with teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance with industry standards. The position requires close collaboration with marine teams and charterers to deliver operational excellence. Qualifications Strong expertise in Ship Management and Maritime operations Proficiency in Inspection processes and vessel maintenance protocols Knowledge and experience in Marine Engineering and technical management Min. 2 years of sailing experience as Chief Engineer on oil and/or tanker Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Familiarity with international maritime regulations and safety standards
