Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Superintendent based in Navi Mumbai. The Technical Superintendent will oversee the technical operations of the company's fleet, ensuring the vessels' maintenance, performance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role includes regular inspections, planning and managing repairs, ensuring timely surveys, maintaining up-to-date records, and liaising with classification societies as well as regulatory bodies. The role also requires effective communication with crew members and providing guidance to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of marine engineering, vessel maintenance, and ship repair practices
• Experience with safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance with classification society and regulatory authorities
• Proficiency in inspecting and planning for the maintenance and operation of fleet vessels
• Ability to provide technical support and work collaboratively with crew members and technical teams
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Relevant professional certifications in marine engineering or related fields are preferred
• A Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field is a plus
• Proven experience in a similar role in the maritime industry
