Job Description

The ideal candidate for this Sales Engineer position should possess a thorough understanding and experience with products and industry regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting marketing and sales activities for TF Heater, Burners for Steam Boiler, Accessories, and related equipment. This entails planning, organizing, and executing all sales initiatives, as well as regularly reviewing and analyzing the market. You will be in charge of supervising the selection and design of products, preparing sales quotations and technical submissions, and following up with consultants and clients to secure approvals. Negotiating with clients before finalizing contracts is also a key aspect of this role. It is essential that you are well-versed in a wide range of boiler and Process Heating products, including Thermic Fluid Heaters, boilers, burners, controls, and other related equipment. The successful candidate should be capable of communicating heat load and boiler sizing details, providing application support when necessary, and accurately determining the proper equipment operation and selection. You must also possess excellent evaluation skills for basic boiler room systems and persuasive language abilities to facilitate equipment sales to customers with diverse requirements and conditions. Effective communication skills, industry-specific vocabulary knowledge, and proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, and CRM are essential for this role. Additionally, having a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record and access to your own vehicle is a requirement. As a Sales Engineer, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining long-term relationships with contractors and engineers while building a broad base of sales prospects. Office presence for administrative tasks and meetings, accurate quoting and explanation of proposed work details, equipment purchase arrangements with vendors, and staying updated on the latest heating and boiler technology are part of your responsibilities. Continuous learning and seeking additional training opportunities to enhance knowledge in relevant areas are also expected. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in heating systems sales. Previous experience with similar companies will be considered an advantage.
