Job Title: Technical Recruiter – State Government Client Experience

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter with a strong background in working with state government clients to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier IT and technical talent for public sector contracts.

This position requires deep understanding of state agency hiring processes, familiarity with VMS tools (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass), and experience navigating the unique compliance and documentation requirements of government engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles across state government contracts (e.g., developers, business analysts, project managers, cybersecurity professionals).
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, program directors, and procurement officers within various state agencies.
  • Source candidates through diverse channels: job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and ATS databases.
  • Screen, qualify, and submit candidates with attention to state-specific requirements (rate cards, documents, clearance checks, etc.).
  • Track and manage candidate pipelines using ATS and VMS tools.
  • Ensure full compliance with state onboarding documentation and credentialing.
  • Provide timely communication and updates to both candidates and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and account management team to understand upcoming needs and contract changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter, with a minimum of 2 years recruiting for state government clients.
  • Proven track record of successful placements within state-level agencies (e.g., TX HHSC, CA DMV, NY DOH, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of public sector hiring processes, rate structures, and compliance nuances.
  • Experience using VMS platforms like Beeline, Fieldglass, and PeopleFluent.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems such as Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a staffing agency focused on state and local government clients.
  • Familiarity with SOW, MSP, and contingent workforce models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
