Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight

  : Manage end-to-end geospatial projects, including drone survey data processing, quality checks, and final delivery to clients.

• Data Management

  : Oversee the acquisition, processing, storage, and analysis of geospatial data from drones, satellites, and other sources.

• Team Leadership

  : Lead and mentor GIS analysts, technicians, and survey teams to ensure efficient project execution and data accuracy.

• Quality Assurance

  : Implement rigorous quality control measures to verify and validate geospatial data, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Technical Expertise

  : Develop workflows for geospatial data processing, including photogrammetry, LiDAR, and satellite imagery integration.

• Client Collaboration

  : Work closely with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.

• Software Utilization

  : Utilize GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Global mapper, Microstation) and drone data processing software (e.g., Pix4D, AgiSoft) for efficient data processing.

• Innovation

  : Stay updated on the latest geospatial technologies and methodologies, integrating them into BetterDrones’ offerings.

• Reporting and Documentation

  : Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for geospatial projects, ensuring clear communication of results to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience

  : Minimum

  5 years

  of experience in GIS, satellite imagery, drone data management, and geospatial analysis.

• Education

  : Must have Master’s degree in Geoinformatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Project Expertise

  : Proven track record of managing drone survey projects from data acquisition to delivery.

• Project Type:

  Must have executed projects related to Power, Railways, Urban or Water.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Microstation and Global Mapper.
• Hands-on experience with drone data processing tools like Pix4D or Agisoft Metashape.
• Knowledge of LiDAR data processing and integration.

• Leadership Ability

  : Experience in managing teams and guiding technical workflows for complex geospatial projects.

• Attention to Detail

  : Strong focus on data quality, verification, and accuracy in deliverables.
