Shape the Future of Fintech. 💳💡"---Job Title: Tech Head – Payment GatewayLocation: Etawah, Uttar Pradesh Experience: 5+ yearsEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: Fintech / PaymentsDepartment: Technology---About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Tech Head with a strong background in the Payment Gateway ecosystem to lead our technology strategy, architecture, and execution. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in digital payments, transaction processing, integrations with banks, and regulatory compliance (like PCI-DSS, RBI guidelines, etc.).---Key Responsibilities:Technology Leadership: Define and drive the tech vision and roadmap aligned with business goals in the PG domain. Own the architecture and scalability of the entire PG stack – APIs, backend, database, integrations, and dashboards. Lead engineering teams across backend, DevOps, and security.Product & Platform Development: Oversee development of core modules: merchant onboarding, payment routing, settlement, reconciliation, risk engine, and chargeback management. Optimize system performance and transaction success ratios.Banking & Third-party Integrations: Lead integration with banks (Acquiring, Issuing), NPCI, VISA/Mastercard, UPI TPAPs, and other PG players. Ensure smooth UAT, certification, and production deployments.Compliance & Security: Ensure PCI-DSS compliance, secure key vault management, tokenization, and fraud monitoring. Work closely with InfoSec and compliance teams.Team & Process Management: Build and mentor a high-performing tech team. Implement best practices in software development (CI/CD, code reviews, agile processes).---Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience (5+ years) in building and scaling Payment Gateway platforms.Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems – UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets, etc.Hands-on expertise in Java / Node.js / Go, RESTful APIs, microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SQL/NoSQL DBs.Experience with PCI-DSS, tokenization, and secure infrastructure architecture.Strong understanding of reconciliation systems, payout engines, and transaction lifecycle.Ability to work with cross-functional teams: Product, Compliance, Operations, and Partner Banks.---Nice to Have:Previous experience in scaling fintech infra to millions of transactions/day.Exposure to cross-border PG, Nodal/escrow account flows, and real-time settlement.
