Technical Head

Role Overview: As the Technical Head at CTA Apparels, you will be responsible for leading the technical and quality functions across multiple categories. Your role will involve a unique blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational execution to ensure flawless product development, robust quality systems, and sustainable process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee end-to-end product development including proto, fit approvals, PP samples, and bulk execution. - Ensure precision in spec sheets, grading, and technical packs. - Implement robust QA systems such as AQL audits, inline/final inspections, and risk assessments. Strategic Business Execution: - Drive strategies to improve technical efficiency and enhance brand trust. - Reduce rejections, claims, and inefficiencies to maintain profitability. - Support business scalability through supplier/buyer partnerships and market-aligned processes. Innovation & Process Improvements: - Introduce advanced workmanship techniques, finishes, and fabric innovations. - Streamline sample-to-production cycles with structured workflows and PLM systems. - Integrate sustainability into QA and technical operations. Qualifications & Experience: - B.Tech in Fashion/Textile Technology or equivalent qualification. - 15+ years of leadership experience in Technical, QA, and Compliance within apparel exports. - Expertise in wovens and knits across mens, womens, and kidswear. - Proven track record of partnering with global brands and buying houses. - Strong knowledge of technical/social audits, compliance, and sustainability protocols. Key Competencies: - Strong mix of technical expertise and business leadership. - Strategic and tactical planner with proven process orientation. - Excellent buyer communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver consistent results.
