Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Web Host Manager – Complete Solution Role(WHMCS) to lead the end-to-end operations of our web hosting division. The ideal candidate will oversee infrastructure management, server performance, security compliance, technical support, customer onboarding, automation workflows, billing integration, and team coordination. You will be responsible for delivering a secure, reliable, and scalable hosting environment that supports our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure & Server Management

  • Manage shared, VPS, cloud (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.), and dedicated hosting environments.
  • Linux Server (Ubuntu)
  • Monitor server performance, uptime, load balancing, and backups.
  • Deploy and maintain control panels (cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin, etc.).
  • Ensure server hardening and compliance with security best practices.

2. Hosting Operations

  • Oversee domain management, DNS setup, SSL installations, and migrations.
  • Optimize website and server performance (e.g., LAMP/LEMP stacks, caching, CDN).
  • Manage web hosting provisioning and lifecycle automation (WHMCS, Blesta, etc.).
  • Develop scripts or tools for automation and efficiency (e.g., PHP, Python).

3. Security & Compliance

  • Monitor for malware, unauthorized access, and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement firewalls, brute force protections, and regular security audits.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).

4. Customer & Technical Support

  • Lead a team of support engineers to handle L1-L3 support issues.
  • Define SLAs, ticket escalation processes, and quality benchmarks.
  • Resolve high-priority or complex hosting issues and downtime incidents.

5. Billing & Client Management

  • Integrate and manage billing systems (WHMCS, HostBill, etc.).
  • Ensure automated invoicing, renewals, and payment gateway configuration.
  • Manage client onboarding, account upgrades, and suspensions.

6. Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Manage and train a team of hosting engineers and support staff.
  • Assign roles, shifts, and responsibilities across a 24/7 support model.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on server uptime, ticket resolution, and usage.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix servers (CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with Apache, NGINX, MySQL, PHP, and DNS.
  • Familiar with WHM/cPanel, Plesk, and server automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean).
  • Knowledge of website migration, email configuration, and FTP/SFTP.

Management Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage hosting support teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong documentation and process development capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of web hosting or server management experience.
  • Certifications like RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect, or cPanel Admin.
  • Prior experience managing a hosting company or large-scale WHMCS setup.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
