, scaling delivery teams, mentoring senior resources, and owning cross-platform solutioning—including cloud, data, integrations, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Initial Engagement (Guidewire-Focused)
- Act as senior client-facing Guidewire expert (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter or Digital)
- Drive end-to-end implementation across configuration, integration, and architecture
- Work with client stakeholders (VP/CXO-level) to understand needs, propose scalable solutions
- Lead code reviews, estimation, technical planning, and delivery health
- Serve as the technical escalation point for high-visibility Guidewire programs
- Ensure delivery excellence, performance tuning, and maintain best practices
Phase 2: Portfolio Expansion (Multi-Tech Oversight)
- Lead diversification into other insurance platforms (e.g., Duck Creek, Majesco, Salesforce, Snowflake, MuleSoft, Azure, AWS, GCP, Data & AI)
- Architect scalable tech stacks and reusable accelerators across multiple insurance lines (P&C, Life, Health)
- Manage 4–5 cross-functional teams concurrently across geographies
- Drive technical hiring, training, and mentorship for mid to senior engineers
- Act as the Technology Leader during pre-sales, RFPs, and client onboarding
- Coordinate with Practice Head and Sales for client-specific solutioning and roadmap planning
- Lead innovation efforts to build IPs, accelerators, or PoCs
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in enterprise software delivery, with 10+ years in Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or Digital)
- Deep technical expertise in Guidewire configuration, integration, and/or cloud deployments
- Proven client-facing leadership experience in delivery and technical solutioning
- Hands-on experience with Java, GOSU, SOAP/REST APIs, and cloud-native platforms
- Exposure or interest in expanding to other InsurTech platforms (e.g., Duck Creek, Majesco, Salesforce)
- Strong architectural thinking and ability to scale teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Prior experience in Agile/SAFe models and leading large programs
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and managing technical roadmaps
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Guidewire Cloud or Cloud Migration experience
- Exposure to AI/ML, Insurance Data Warehousing, or Digital Portals
- Experience in scaling InsurTech products or platforms globally
- Background in startup or fast-growth environments is a strong plus
