Guidewire PC Configuration Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to join our team in delivering robust insurance solutions using the Guidewire platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet business requirements in the P&C insurance domain. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and develop custom solutions on Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu and Guidewire Studio. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support. Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and maintain workflows, user interface (UI) components, and integration points using Guidewire's configuration tools. Write and optimize Gosu scripts for business rules, plugins, and validation logic. Perform unit testing, support system testing, and resolve defects. Provide production support and troubleshoot PolicyCenter issues. Stay updated with the latest Guidewire releases and features. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development. Strong proficiency in Gosu programming. Experience with Guidewire Studio and its configuration framework. Knowledge of PolicyCenter data model, product model, and integration architecture. Familiarity with SOAP/REST web services and XML/JSON. Strong understanding of P&C insurance workflows and terminology. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Preferred Qualifications Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration or Integration. Experience with other Guidewire products (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) is a plus. Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of SQL, databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and middleware technologies.
