Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer

with strong functional and technical expertise in PolicyCenter implementations. The ideal candidate should possess solid configuration experience, deep understanding of core PolicyCenter concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and enhance
Guidewire PolicyCenter
modules following best practices.
Work closely with
Business Analysts, QA teams, and Clients
to translate requirements into scalable configuration solutions.
Analyze business requirements and deliver high-quality PolicyCenter configuration components.

Implement and customize PolicyCenter elements such as:

Data Models
Product Models
Underwriting Rules
Question Sets
Activities
Validations
PCF Screens

Ensure smooth integration of customizations with
Guidewire OOTB
(Out-of-the-Box) behavior.
Work on
Commercial Lines
products and understand SBT (Specialty/Small Business/Service Based Tier) line configurations.
Troubleshoot configuration issues and ensure error-free delivery across environments.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in
Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration
concepts.
Excellent
analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving
skills.
Hands-on experience with GW configuration artifacts including entities, typelists, product definitions, workflows, and rules.
Good understanding of
P&C insurance domain
, especially Commercial Lines.
Experience in
Guidewire SBT
product lines (preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and client-interaction abilities.
