Technical Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant who will work with the recruitment team to evaluate candidates technically, understand job specifications, screen profiles based on skills, and guide the selection process.
This role suits senior professionals or retired technical experts who understand technical job roles and enjoy recruitment involvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Understanding & JD Analysis

• Evaluate and interpret client job descriptions for technical roles.
• Identify key skill requirements, experience checks & certification relevance.
• Support recruiters with correct role alignment & profile fitment.

Candidate Assessment & Screening

• Conduct technical tele-screening/interviews of candidates.
• Shortlist and recommend profiles based on competency.
• Create technical evaluation notes to support client submission.

Recruitment Support

• Coordinate with recruitment team to close technical positions faster.
• Assist sourcing strategies for skilled categories & bulk hiring.
• Participate in trade test planning and assessment coordination.

Client Interaction

• Join client calls for requirement briefings & hiring strategy.
• Share technical insights & feedback for improving shortlist accuracy.
• Maintain clarity in communication between client and sourcing team.

Database & Reporting

• Maintain technical evaluation records and documentation.
• Help build skill-based pipelines for GCC & domestic projects.
• Provide weekly technical hiring review to management.

Skills & Experience Required

• 10–15 years experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Construction / Maintenance / Engineering domain.
• Ability to assess technical skills for fabricators, welders, fitters, technicians, supervisors, engineers etc.
• Strong understanding of project-based manpower requirements.
• Good communication & evaluation skills.
• Comfortable working with recruitment teams and candidate interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
