Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    Responsible for all business finance activities at Port. It includes assisting the FC in Budgetary control, MIS, Accounting, Treasury & working capital management , Receivable management , Review of Financial Statements, Audits, & Statutory compliances

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Accountabilities Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Accountancy Closure Budgetary Control & MIS Statutory Payments Coordination with Internal/External Stakeholders - Close monthly financials in scope, as per timeline with full compliance with accounting standards. - Review and booking of Monthly/Annual Provisions. - GL scrutiny and review - Resolving audit Queries timely - Annual Budget preparation, discussion, presentation. - Budgetary allocation of Opex/Capex Budget in SAP. - Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue & profit performance, identify gaps & suggest corrective actions to management. - Timely payment of statutory dues such as TDS, Advance Tax, Commercial Tax, etc. - Projection of Advance Tax quarterly. - Assisting Tax team for providing various details related to income tax return and various tax assessments. - Manage Internal/ External Audits and ensure timely submission of response to audit observations and completion of Audit in time bound manner.

    Accounting,Budgeting/MIS,Fund / Treasury Management,Taxation/Audits,IFRS/GAAP

Qualifications and Experience


    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (degree, training, or certification required) CA/MBA/ICWA RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) 3 + years of experience Experience in managing F & A in a large setup Should have experience in preparing balance sheet and handling statutory audits in the company
